About the Destination
Derived from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning "the place where the land runs on forever," the Serengeti covers nearly 15,000 sq. km. It is a biological powerhouse home to the "Big Five" and over 500 bird species. The park is divided into distinct sectors: the central Seronera (famed for leopards), the Western Corridor (Grumeti River crossings), and the Northern Kogatende (Mara River crossings), each offering a unique seasonal experience.
