About the Destination

Spanning 1,442 sq. km, Kidepo Valley is a semi-arid wilderness dominated by the Morungole Mountains and bisected by the Narus and Kidepo rivers. It is the only park in Uganda where you can find Cheetahs, Ostriches, and Maneless Zebras. The park is famous for its massive buffalo herds (sometimes numbering over 1,000) and its dramatic scenery, which feels like a throwback to Africa a century ago.
