About the Destination

Kibale is unique for its varied vegetation, ranging from moist evergreen forest to dry tropical forest and savannah. While it is home to forest elephants, leopards, and buffaloes, the stars are undoubtedly the primates. The Kanyanchu Primate Walk has been habituating chimpanzees since 1993, resulting in a sighting success rate of over 90%. It serves as a vital ecological link to Queen Elizabeth National Park, allowing wildlife to migrate through a 180km-long corridor.
