Is one of the three mountains park cover 770 sq kms (308 sq miles) stretching from the peak at Ol Doinyo Lesatima in the North to the nearly as high Nyandarra Peaks in the South. The Eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley is the Western boundary and in the East there is an area known asa Salient. The Park consists of high mountains rain forest, open moorland with hagenia woodlands and impenetrable bamboo forest.

While your in the park you will enjoying watching some unusual and rare animals such us bongo, a forest dwelling antelope that feeds at night and in the early morning, Giant forest hogs, bushbucks, bronze-naped pigeon, dusky turtle and tambourine doves. Also Bamboo tunnels.
