Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by a African Spoonbill Tours representative who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.  

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning we will start our journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. As you cross the picturesque Maasai plains, encountering colorful Maasai communities along the way. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife population. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, immersing yourself in the beauty of the savannah, swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. In the evening, retire to your accommodation for a delightful dinner.    

Day 3: Serengeti National Park (Central)

After breakfast, travel towards the fertile highlands, passing through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti National Park by midday. Witness the grand migration of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes as they search for food and water across the grassy plains, swamps, and savannah. Delight in an extensive game drive and spend the night in the Seronera Valley, surrounded by nature.  

Day 4: Serengeti Western Corridor

Embark on an exciting drive to the Serengeti’s Western Corridor, known for its vast wildebeest herds, zebras, elands, and gazelles. Witness the spectacular river crossings as the animals brave the crocodile-infested waters of the Grumeti River. Experience the captivating landscape and encounter leopards and hyenas in this wildlife-rich region. After an extensive game drive, we drive to the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and overnight stay at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 5: Serengeti Central

This entire day is set aside for game drives upon the Western Serengeti. Later in the afternoon, drive to the central region of the park, where you can encounter an abundance of wildlife such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos, and the resident predators – leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Marvel at the changing landscapes and witness the circle of life unfold before your eyes. Return to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a cozy evening under the starlit African sky.  

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, journey from the Serengeti National Park to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater, a unspoiled wilderness encompassing extensive savannahs, acacia woodlands, and glistening lakes. Spot an array of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. Keep an eye out for the endangered black rhino, a rare sight in the open grasslands. After a full afternoon inside the crater, head to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.  

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Embark on the final leg of your safari as you visit Lake Manyara National Park. This diverse park is home to flamingos, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and if luck is on your side, lions lounging in the trees. Explore the varied landscapes, including open plains, woodlands, and cliffs adorned with baobab trees. Enjoy another memorable game drive before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon, where your incredible safari comes to an end.
